Pet Community Center is pleased to offer $20 spays and neuters for puppies and kittens under the age of 6 months during the month of June. Pet Community Center’s veterinarians specialize in pediatric spay/neuter. “It is safe to spay or neuter puppies at 3 months old and kittens at 2 months old. In fact there are many benefits, including a quick recovery time after surgery,” said Dr. Mike Greenberg, medical director for Pet Community Center. Dogs and cats can go into heat as early as 4 months old, so it’s important to spay and neuter early to prevent unplanned litters of puppies and kittens. Not only is it a great benefit to your pet, it also helps prevent pet overpopulation which leads to the euthanasia of shelter pets across Middle Tennessee.
This special, which is made possible by a generous grant from PetSmart Charities, is available to all residents of Middle Tennessee. Offer ends June 30, 2015. Pet parents of puppies and kittens who wish to take advantage of this offer must mention the “Precious Not Parents” campaign when scheduling their appointment. Appointments are based on availability. For more information or to schedule an appointment, interested persons should call 615-512-5001 to book an appointment.
