Who We Are
Pet Community Center is a nonprofit on a mission to make high-quality spay/neuter
and veterinary care affordable and accessible to all pet owners. We manage a high
quality spay/neuter surgery center in East Nashville and a Mobile Wellness clinic that
provides basic wellness care to pets in underserved areas.
Since 2011, Pet Community Center has served more than 20,000 animals. Pet
Community Center is a member of the prestigious Humane Alliance network of
Pet Community Center is seeking a self starter to join our team as a Kennel
Technician/Van Driver. The person in this role will be responsible for the care of dogs
and cats while they are here for surgery, cleaning kennels/carriers/humane traps,
general cleaning and maintenance of clinic, cleaning surgical instruments and making
surgical packs, and assisting with Friday Wellness clinics. Applicant must be
comfortable with lifting at least 30 lbs, and restraining dogs and cats.
This position will also be responsible for driving a large transit van for our transport
program. This involves driving to various locations in Middle Tennessee to pick up pets
and transport them back to our clinic for surgery. A clean driving record is

This position is a part-time 24-30 hours per week position (Monday and Wednesday
9am-5pm, Tuesday and Thursday 6 am-9 am,3 pm to 6 pm). Flexible schedule is
required as these times may change due to traffic and demand. Additional hours may be
added to the schedule as demand increases. Flexible schedule is required.
